Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born March 4, 1954 is an actress from Canada. O'Hara has been the recipient of many distinctions which include one Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In the year 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974, as a member of The Second City in Toronto. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara and Candy started work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
