Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as and programs such as Real Time With Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her new interest in politics partly due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 primaries. Furthermore, she was a witness to the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She saw how it affected the people of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation of the global implications of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She established the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
